Ordered 9 fence panels, 3 concrete gravel boards and 3 concrete posts. Arrived in the time given, driver MICHAL sent text message to give us 30 minutes notice of his arrival. Street was fairly full of parked cars so he very professionally reversed his wagon into a safe place and unloaded for us. MICHAL was very pleasant and we feel credit we’re it’s due, he is an asset to Welch fencing.

Well made, solid and really good. After struggling with Wakerley panels which got more fragile the newer they were( just had to break up the last of my original fence panels and we've been here 30 years) the replacement Welch ones are definitely lasting better, hopefully they will last 30 years too.

The fence panels arrived on time. Not good quality but for the price was not expecting too much. My only gripe was one fence panel was missing half a length of wood. It took several months my first email being in November 2020 and their reply being in March the 2021 and several attempts to contact customer services to even get a reply which was"There is not a board missing. We buy the boards already cut from the sawmill.Because it is cut from a log some panels like the one you received could have 5 boards others could have 6 & 7 boards it depending on the part of the log the panel maker is using"I replied back to advise it was half a length which was clearly snapped off, that was back in March and I've heard nothing since.I could not recommend them based on this so would advise to pay the extra and go elsewhere.

Amazing prices. Even better service. They responded quickly to my queries and even delivered before stated date.The quality of their products cannot be disputed. The fence panels are the best I could find for such great prices. Mind you I didn’t even purchase the more expensive ones. Simply the heat treated cheaper ones and was still pleasantly surprised . The post and gravel boards are so solid and sturdy. All in all I am extremely happy. My new go to for garden supplies.It must also be stated that the delivery guy was also amazing. Did everything he could to get all the deliveries stacked and packed neatly and carefully. He was polite and lovely.I can’t stress enough how happy I am with the overall service and products. Even my neighbours came over to ask where I got my products as they were such good quality .Many thanks and keep up the good service .

We ordered a range of concrete posts and barge boards, many requiring cutting to bespoke sizing. The ordering process was straight forward, and the delivery happened on time and in full. Product quality is excellent. We could not have asked for a more polite and courteous service from everyone at Welch.A big shout out must go to Phil the Welch driver who managed our country lanes and parked without damaging the verges while at the same time allowing our local busses to pass.

Looked on there website liked the items so ordered them I could have collected them but decided to have them delivered for a small charge they said when they would be able to deliver them and at what time. I ordered 13, 3ft panels and posts and gravel boards, to be with delivered to Hythe near Southampton. The delivery was excellent and the driver was first class, put them right were I wanted them, saved me a bit of hard work. the price i paid with delivery was excellent, I could not find them any cheaper down here. Purchased 40 odd Concrete Gravel boards and Posts for delivery. Great price and excellent service from the delivery driver. He moved big bags of ballast about on the drive so he could stack the delivery neatly to one side so we could still use the drive when it would have been so easy to simply put it in the middle. Very polite and courteous too. Couldn't really ask for more.

I bought fencing from w.welch fencing in 2018 I cant complain about the product, the delivery charge was good, but when phoned to place another large order the delivery charge was 3 times the cost which meant I could have bought another lot of fencing for that price, when asked why the large different in price i was told that the less you buy the cheaper the delivery charge would be i cant understand why they work this way and dont no how they think people have that amount of money for this the fencing cost alot of money

Price wasn't bad, but on seeing the panels I understood why. Nails that missed their target simply bent over instead of being removed. Some of the wood used looked like it had come from scrap! All put together by a very inexperienced apprentice, probably. As for being treated, if they went within a foot of the dip tank you'd be lucky. Barely any preservative noticeable.

Can’t complain at all, everything was easy.Looked around and Welch fencing was the most cost effective place to buy the materials from. Probably saved around 1K compared to most other retailers and mainstream garden ware businesses.Website said they were only taking orders in the local area due to Covid. Rang them to find out if there was any movement here. They secured me a date for delivery no problem.We ended up needing to add more to the order before delivery which they also sorted no problem. Delivered perfectly on the day.See the results. And ignore the garden in progress :P

Excellent customer service, phoned me back as promised. My order wasn't straight forward as it involved taking payments from several neighbours, this was no problems for the lady who was very patient at all time despite having extra workload and constantly changing red tape to deal with due to the current situation. I have had fence panels from welches before and found that they are far superior quality than chain shop bought.

I phoned on Friday to place an order and was told I would get a call back in a few minutes, this never happened. I tried again today at 1pm and my order details were taken. I was again informed that I would get a call back with a price and delivery date, again I did not get a call back. As I know the closing time is 4.30pm I once again called at 4.10 to be told that a date was being sorted and the would call back. Guess what, I have not received a call back. I can understand that during these times we are experiencing that you may be busy but I think the customer service is shocking.

February 2020, I placed an order for fencing concrete posts etc. I needed to completely renew my garden fencing and was most pleased to find Welchs. On line. I was really pleased with all aspects of ordering from them. I was informed of my delivery date which was adhered to and the lorry driver duely delivered to my home on time. Excellent service from start to finish.also great quality fencing for a great price.

Great service and flawless delivery. If you are buying wooden panels, I would suggest you don't get the cheaper ones, or you will be sorry you didn't spend the extra pound. The fence panels in the pictures are not from Welch, but everything else is.

ordered concrete fence panels, which were out of stock, told would be about 2 weeks.2 weeks later contacted to find out progress told it could be a further 2 weeks, collected some items in order to progress the job and awaited delivery of remainder of orderover 1 week later driver arrived with delivery and dumped them on the pathway outside my property. couldn't give a damn where I wanted the panels unloaded.Wouldn't recommend

Welch Fencing are absolutely fantastic. They are cheaper than any local fencing company even though they are delivering from the other end of the UK. After numerous quotes locally I found Welch fencing online. The items ordered arrived within the allotted time frame and the driver placed them where I wanted them.Builder then arrived and was impressed with quality of materials as was I.Fence erected and looks great.Will use them again when need to replace front fence.Even with delivery to West Cumbria Welch were still a lot cheaper than local companies by far

I was given misleading information by staff at the time of ordering at their yard despite me making three visits beforehand to make sure I was to get the product I wanted. Welch's then delivered the wrong concrete posts which were excessively defective and very poor quality. Whilst their timber products are fine I would avoid their precast concrete fence posts particularly their 'Liner' type posts. I took many photos of the defects but as this review doesn't allow pictures I describe them here:1. Concrete mould must have been deformed and badly dented as the final cast had significant unsightly indentations on it.2. Supposedly smooth surfaces were very rough in many places and covered in air holes and blisters.3. The mould must have seeped concrete resulting in large nibs of concrete protrusions on post edges and pyramid tops that were supposed to be straight and sharp.4. Post corners and edges were chipped in several places.5. Their bulk bags of sand & stone 'mix' does not arrive mixed as you might expect. The bag contains a layer of sand at the bottom then a layer of clean aggregate, then another layer of sand topped off with more clean aggregate. In other words you have to mix it yourself.Welch's did change the concrete posts for the type I had originally requested but one of the 10 posts I received is so badly shattered along one edge that it's not fit for use.It makes you wonder if they have any sort of quality control systems in place. A lot of these reviews say that their prices are very competitive but they are very similar to other fencing suppliers in the region.In hindsight, I wish I'd shopped elsewhere.

redone back fence with new posts and gravel boards, ordered all from welch fencing, was reluctant as price was too good to be true.however i phoned up to place my order and got a really nice person on the other end who took the order details. then i got call after 10 mins with price and delvery time of 1 week, so i placed order and had the delivery around 9am on the day they said.needless to say very pleased with service and price. Quality of the posts and panels seem as good as the old ones only time will tell.

Fantastic price and good quality posts and boards, saved a fortune even compared to a local company manufacturing the concrete posts.A little sticky with the couriers who delivered the pallet as they did not have the right equipment to deliver pallets to a resedential address, but that could not be attributed to Welch's.Will use again for sure
