Close Board Fencing Panels

The wooden Close Board fencing panels are fence panels formed from vertical feather edge boards, each partially overlapped and fixed to several rear horizontal supporting wooden rails. Close Board panels are traditionally used for boundary screening and are more robust than the common waney panels. All Close Board fencing panels are supplied complete with a top capping.

The panel comes complete with a top cap fitted. The rough sawn timber has been dip treated to provide the fencing panels with protection against rot.

The Close Board panel is our most popular offering excellent strength, durability and security at a reasonable price.

All the wooden Close Board Fencing Panels are 6 ft width and have different heights: 600 mm (2 ft) , 900 mm (3 ft), 1200 mm (4 ft) , 1500 mm (5 ft) , 1800 mm (6 ft). They are constructed using 5 in wide feathered edge boards running vertically down. They have rails 35 mm x 45 mm running across the back horizontally. Finished of with a capping on top. All of the wooden Close Board Fencing Panels are treated with a cuprinol type preservative and are golden brown in colour. As we manufacture all our panels we are able to make different sizes. Simply go to the cutting option and type in the measurements you require for your fencing panels.

We will email you with the delivery date, the delivery will be made on either one of our small pick-up vehicles or one of our 32t crane wagons (4 x axle, 10ft2 wide and 37ft long). It is dependent on the order as to which vehicle we use for delivery. If there are any problems with access, then please let us know at the time of placing the order.

Nationwide Welch Home Delivery

We will email you with a two-day window slot for delivery, the delivery will be made on one of our 32t crane wagons (4 x axle, 10ft2 wide and 37ft long). If there are any problems with access, then please let us know at the time of placing the order.

Express Delivery

We will either call you or email you to arrange delivery. This delivery method would be made on outside couriers and not our own fleet. There is a possibility that they may require somebody there to physically assist the driver, but if this is the case then we would ring you to confirm a suitable delivery date.
